Welcome to The 4th Southport Coast Links Championship . This outstanding 5 day Amateur stableford Mens Championship is played over 5 of Britain's Finest courses. The winner will win a £500 voucher and The Southport Coast Links Trophy . The 5 Venues are Southport & Ainsdale Golf Club, Formby Ladies Golf Club, West Lancashire Golf Club, Hillside Golf Club, hosting the qualifying for Royal Birkdale and Southport & Ainsdale Golf Club on the last day for the non-qualifiers . This outstanding 4 day Amateur Stableford Mens Championship is played over 5 of Wales Finest courses.
The winner will win a £300 voucher and The South Wales Coast Links Trophy .
The 5 Venues are Southerndown, Ashburnham Golf Club, Pennard Golf Club, Machynys Peninsula & Royal Porthcawl.
The 5 courses are all ranked in the Top 10 in Wales, with Senior Open venue 2017 Royal Porthcawl ranked #1
South Wales Coast Links Championship is approved by England Golf & the Golf Union of Wales
to run qualifying championships under the R&A Rules and CONGU Handicap rules.
The Inaugural Aberdeenshire Coast Links Championship 2018
This amazing new Championship will take in 5 of Scotlands finest courses including two days at the World Famous Trump International Golf Links. Alongside this the Championship will take in Murcar & Cruden Bay both Courses are equally well know and have both held many prestige events.
Making up the line up are Fraserburgh Golf Club (7th oldest course in the world) a real hidden gem, and Newburgh On Ythan always a feature in Top 100 courses in Scotland
Monday 9th April will see Murcar open up the Championship, this lovely Links recently held the Paul Lawrie Matchplay in 2016 which was won by Kiridech Arabarnrat.Tuesday will see the players move on to Fraserburgh (7th oldest course in the World) this hidden gem is a tradition Links, always ranked in the Top 60 in Scotland this is a must play Course for Aberdeenshire. Wednesday we move on to the World Famous Cruden Bay, this outstanding Links is a real favourite with the Americans, who visit it frequently, not only one of Scotlands Finest Links courses but the Worlds, in 2013 it was ranked 54th in the World by "Links Magazine USA" high praise indeed.
After 3 days of superb venues, the Top 32 players (16 gross & 16 nett) will take on 36 holes (two days) over arguably a course that will not only be Scotlands Finest but one of the Worlds finest Links Courses one day the Trump International, a modern but still tradition look Links, this really will be special for the players involved. Players will have early/late start giving it a real "Open" feel to final two days.For the non qualifiers another Top 100 course in Scotland awaits on day 4 Newburgh On Ythan, which is less than 5 miles from Trump International.
On final day there will be a chance for non qualifiers to play Trump International at a reduced rate or any of the courses involved in the week
Entry fee is £329 (amazing value Trump International £235 peak season) limited to 100

Nick Dougherty’s Golf Career was established on the very same Southport Coast where he had a glittering Amateur career prior to moving to the professional game in 2001.
