New over 50 Senior Tour at some great venues
Amateur Senior Tour
Welcome to the Amateur Senior Tour, sponsored by Function 18. For years the Professional Senior Tour has started at 50 with Amateur Senior Events at 55, not anymore with the launch of this Tour.
Starting in April 2019 anyone over 50 will be eligible to take part in a series of events like the Pro Tour to determine the the Order Of Merit Champion.
Golfers will still be able to enter the Senior Events that start at 55, but five years in golf is a long time for players waiting to reach 55.
The Tour starts on 15th April at Hesketh Golf Club with some fine courses throughout the season including Aberdovey, Caldy and
Burnham & Berrow.
The Tour Final at the end of the season will offer Double Points.
Summary:
· All events will be Individual Stableford.
· Each event is passed by England Golf for Handicap Qualifying.
· Live Scoring every venue.
· Order of Merit, every player receives 25 points for entering any event 20 points (Tour Final).
· 10 Events in first year including Tour Final.
· Players must play in 4 events to qualify for Order of Merit.
· Top 25 (Tour Members) receive points at each venue.
· 1st 100 points
· 2nd 95 points
· 3rd 90 points
· 4th 85 points
· 5th 80 points
· 6th 79 points
· 7th 78 points etc down to 25th Place
· Extra 20 points for best front 9 and back 9 at each venue
